Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers Welcome!
Hills Dog Club welcomes volunteers to assist with dog trials and help around the club. There are a variety of ways you can get involved, including:
- Supporting in the Office: Help with administration, enrolments, and general enquiries.
- Becoming an Instructor: Enrol in our next Hills Dog Club instructors course. Speak with the education officer or chief instructor if you are interested in passing on the knowledge you will gain to our community.
- Setting Up Equipment and Rings: Assist with preparing the grounds and equipment for classes and events.
- Trial Day Stewarding: Stewarding or providing a helping hand with organisation and setup at events like Scent Work and Obedience Rally Trials is a vital volunteer role that helps ensure the smooth and fair running of each competition. This can be a full-day or half-day event, and lunch is always provided. This is a great way to discover the various events available for you and your dog to participate in.
